What a fun trip! We have been planning this one for almost 2 years and it was well worth the wait. I laugh at the idea of doing it without my parents, they were a gem on the trip. The kiddos did awesome! Allie was so brave and tried every ride she could and there was only one she didn't like - Tower of Terror. Brooke loved the teacups and we loved watching her giggle on them. Will - well he just hung out and bonded with Papa. We also had a chance to hit the beach and the LA temple too. It was so fun hanging out with friends and family we would definitely to it again.

After months and months of planning Allie's party has come and gone. The theme was Allie's Sweet Shoppe. We played candy bingo, pin the candle on the cupcake, candy bag toss, and had a cake walk. Everyone had fun and nobody left without lots of candy. I can't believe I have a 5 year old. Happy Birthday Girl!!

I LOVE surprises so I (with the help of Lars' brother) have been planning for months Lars' birthday present. It was better than I expected. He had NO clue. He is going to San Fran to see a 49ers football game and a Giant baseball game with all the guys in his family. They are going to have a blast. I thought maybe he stole my thunder a little bit, because he had this great idea to plan himself a birthday extravaganza. So he did. He is in New York right now to watch the Yankees play tomorrow and then on Tuesday he will go to the Brazil vs USA soccer game. Needless to say he is getting in lots of sporting events this month. Happy 30th babe and I can't wait for my 30th birthday. (Hint Hint :)

WOW - where does the time go? We just got some pics done recently, so I thought I would share. Pics are always an adventure in our family, but not to bad this time around thanks to Lars being there to help. Will is already 5 weeks old and he is a champ, ( a very good baby). We are all adjusting very well. We are just trying to bring on spring anyway we can, like - praying, wishing, hoping, wearing spring clothes, riding bikes, and digging to find the grass through the snow. So if everyone does their part, maybe just maybe . . . we can get it here a little quicker.

William Lars Latimer was born on 01/11/10 (palindrome) weighing in at 8 lbs. 10 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. Everything went really well for me and baby. I was half way there when I was sent up to be induced and a few hours later and 2 pushes he was here! He is a cute kid, but we still can't figure out who he looks like. And Allie and Brooke can't wait to get their hands on him tomorrow. So heres to a new adventure!

Never Been So Excited. . .

to return to our normal routine life! Lars spent this past Friday through Monday in the hospital. During the past week he was gradually loosing all his muscle strength in his arms, and when he couldn't even pick up his dinner plate or brush his teeth we knew we needed to go see the Dr. He was admitted into the hospital after that appointment to monitor him and do lots and lots of tests! I felt so bad for him - he was constantly poked and pricked as they tried to determine what was causing this to happen. Many theories were thrown out, many of which really gave us a scare. But we got the news on Monday that he had a virus, that was attacking his muscles. Yippee, something that can be treated and we can return to normal life. He is doing much, much better. Everyday is better than the last and we are almost back to normal. I don't even think I can begin to say how grateful we are. First of all that Lars is getting better, and second for all the friends and family that have been there for us. We really do appreciate ALL that has been done for us! Thank you everyone!

It is true #3 is on its way. We are so excited to have another little babe join our family in January. This picture is not mine, mine is a little smaller. We are 13 weeks now and finally have a little bit of energy. Some people have told me to be prepared for the 3rd so that is what I am trying to do at this point, just be prepared for what is to come.

Well new to us. This was kind of an impulse buy. We weren't even looking for a new vehicle, but came across this one and everything just kind of fell into place. We have had it for about a week and there is no buyers remorse, so I think we are good to go. So now we just have to sell a cute little red focus if you know anybody that wants one :-)

Yes, (this picture may depict otherwise) but we are still alive even though we have not been seen in the blogging world. This picture rather depicts one of the best things about camping. The easiest way to get your children asleep is to go for little ride. One of the few things that may be easier while camping than at home.

Brooke, Madelyn, & Allie

This was the first of a few camping trips to come this year. We made the annual trip to spend time with some families that I grew up with. This camping trip is always great company that comes with some good laughs.

One of the reasons you have not seen us blogging is well, landscaping seems to occupy all our thoughts, time, and money. So if you see me driving around your neighborhood I am just taking photos and envying your yards. Hopefully there is an end to the nonsense soon! Thanks for all the help we've had.

SNOW DAY

We can't go anywhere, so we might as well enjoy the snow. We have got 16 inches and counting. Allie really enjoyed playing in the snow and eating it as well. Brooke didn't mind it even though she couldn't even walk in it. It was really fun for all of us to get out and have some fun in the snow before it is all gone away for this season.

A Little Piece of Paradise

It doesn't get any better than a vacation with beautiful weather, all the food you could ever want, and great company you can laugh your head off with. The Cruise was everything we wanted and more. We got to snorkel with sting rays in the Bahamas, relax on the beach in St. Thomas, and Snuba in St. Martin. It was awesome! Thanks to everyone who helped out with the girls! They did great so the vacation was a total success.

Some of our favorite memories:

- "Another one bites the GAS" - or at least that's what it sounded like to us as the foreigner sang it.
- Puking off the side of the boat - Lars didn't handle the small boat ride too well

- "Fartlick" - a new game our friend wanted to play

- Educating me - no explanation needed

- Raspberries on the beach - trying to ride the waves in and the sand getting the best of us

- Arien's eye rolling- no explanation needed on that one either

- Playing cards and kicking trash:)

- Being "Hypnotized" - so they say

- Eaves dropper - no matter what question we asked she had an answer to

- Laughing 'til you cry - this happened all the time

Vacation Ahead

So as the vacation approaches so does the anxiety of leaving my kids for 9 days. I have never left either one of them for this long before, and I have never left Brooke overnight at all. I don't worry about the care of my kids at all, I know they are in good hands! What I do worry about is them waking up six times in the night, making too many messes, and them ejoying their stay so much they will not want to come home. I will set all these worries aside and begin the packing adventure which awaits me the next couple of days.

So I have been told I need to do a better job at updating my blog. So here is to a new year with new updates, we'll see how long this resolution will last :) I hope the holiday brought many memories for all. As for us the Christmas season went by far too fast. It was filled with many great Christmas parties surrounded by family and friends. We made some fun memories this year, and look forward to all the 2009 has to offer. Here is to a great year.

So we all want to save a penny or two, but what about free food! Thanks to a good neighbor, I am starting to use coupons and save money at the grocery store. I am not a pro yet, but I am not giving up either. Last week I spent 15.00 and got all you see in the picture. Just the cereal alone at regular price would have cost me that. And I got free vegetables! Can't beat that.

It is officail Brooke is walking. This video was taken about one week ago. She is know perfes walking over crawling. We think it is the cutest thing to watch little ones learn how to walk.

Home Sweet Home

Hip hip hooray! Let's hear a shout out, because yes we are in our home. We moved in about 4 weeks ago and it is already starting to feel like home. I love it. (Except for the dirt) I am sending an open invite to anyone who wants to come and check the house out, you are welcome any time any day. And even if you don't want to come and see the house come and see us, we like visitors.

I am feeling like this is the way my current room looks all the time. (My apologizes go out to my in-laws.) I consider myself a tidy person for the most part, but all of that has gone out the window the past few months. There are just way to many things that don't have a place to call home right now, so they just get set anywhere and then stacked upon. Don't worry I keep this ciaos contained to one room. Needless to say I try to keep the door shut so nobodies wonder eyes will have to be blinded by the mess. I am so ready to be a more tidy and organized and have a home!! They say it will be done in a week, so I am crossing my fingers, and all ten toes too. I can not end this post without saying a big Thank You to my in-laws for letting us stay with you. (P.S. this isn't really my room, I would be too embarrassed to show you that, but I hope it isn't that bad :)

From foundation . . . . to walls . . . to actually looking like a house. Yippy!! It is coming, but no matter how fast it comes it is never fast enough. My new title is wanna be electrician. We have been doing electrical this whole week and well I am ready to be done, and I am sure our families are too. (Thanks for all your help guys!) So as I pass my title of wanna be electrician in the garbage the people who really hold the title of sheet rockers will be coming in next week. The next time I post about the house maybe, just maybe it will be done!

Camping seems to consume many weekends of our summer vacation. We just got back from a 4 day camping trip with Lars' family. Allie loved every bit of the dirt, and playing with cousins. I am sure she will ask very soon when we are going camping again. Brooke handled camping very well too. So bring on the next camping trip !!

From one side of the country to the other in 5 days. (Thanks to airplanes) Speaking of airplanes it was a little rough for Brooke which in turn made it rough for Lars and I, but we made it there, relaxed, went to the beach, hung out with friends, and made it back home safely. It was very relaxing and it was nice to have a vacation that you didn't need another vacation to recover from.

Yippy! We closed on our house in Layton on Friday. It is such a good feeling. As of today we are actually going to build - I know we are so indecisive. One minute we are buying and the very next minute we are building. We are going to meet tomorrow and if contracts look good we will be building in Wellsville. Building is a long process but we are excited.

Not So Fast!!

So we thought we were playing things pretty safe. We didn't start looking for a house until our house went under contract, and 2 weeks later placed an offer on a new home in Wellsville (just outside of Logan). Well needless to say we got a call the day before we were suppose to close saying "Not so Fast" So here we still are trying to hurry and wait, and then wait some more. To tell you the truth it has made us all a bit cranky, so be glad you don't have to be around us too much. There is still a glimmer of hope that we will not have to put the house back on the market - So keep those fingers crossed for us.

I have spent the last two weeks watching my cousins in the picture. More than me watching them they watched my kids. They are great kids! It was so nice for Lars and I to go out without the kids and come home to sleeping children and a house of order. According to Lars he accomplished more in that Saturday than he has in the past year combined. If they ever go up for adoption we are first on the list :) Thanks for all your help girls!

We started the camping season off early this year. We wanted to get one camping trip in with Shane before he took off to Iraq. As you can see we camped in the middle of no where with the brush and hills and good family company. We all managed to have a lot of fun and be save. OUR HOUSE

This is our house. Hopefully not for too much longer. We a trying to sell our house, because Lars got a new job in Logan. Yea! We are moving back home. We have made so many good friends in Layton and we are going to miss them. But we are determined to keep in touch with many of them. This house has been great for us over the past two years. Many memories will never be forgotten that happened here, but we look forward to our next house and the memories our new home will hold.

Blessing Day

Brooke was blessed on March second in our home ward in Layton. Both of our families were able to make it. It was a very nice day. Just look at Brooke's blessing dress. Isn't it beautiful? My neighbor gave me the idea of cutting up my wedding dress to make a blessing dress, but I just couldn't quite do it. So I asked my mom if she would want to cut her wedding dress up, the dress she had made when she got married. She did and now Brooke has a very meaningful blessing dress that she can pass on down with her children. Not many girls can say they were blessed in their grandma's wedding dress. Thanks, mom.

The most recent addition to our family is Brooke. She was born in December, just in time for Christmas. She is a bundle of joy and growing everyday. She just started smiling this past week. Allie loves to play with her mouth and say "where's the smiles for Allie". Brooke and cousin Taylee are just a week apart. It is fun to get them together, we hope they will be best buds. Brooke is in the skirt, Taylee in the pink, along with Allie, and cousin Kaysen.
